Phone Extensions

It has come to our attention that many people, especially on cell phones, are not getting to the proper extension.  This is due to the tone that is generated by pressing a number being sent twice. The phone system registers any tones, no matter how brief, as a number being pressed, therefore sending it to the first two digit extension it recognizes from the tones. The only thing that can help with this, is to be precise with the numbers pressed.

Another problem people are finding, is that the system factory programming announces to press 0 to reach the receptionist.  This is incorrect. We do not have a receptionist. By pressing 0 you are transferred to extension 10. If you do not get an answer, only valid extensions have voice mails, so if you do not have an opportunity to leave a voice mail, you may have been inadvertently connected to the wrong extension.
